The CREATE Framework

To get the best results from Gemini in a corporate environment, stop writing 1-sentence requests. Use the CREATE framework to give the model exactly what it needs:

Context & Request

Always tell Gemini who it is playing (e.g., "Act as a Senior CMO") and exactly what you want it to do ("Draft an email sequence").

Audience & Tone

Define the target ("Targeting Gen Z") and the mood ("Keep it witty and sarcastic"). This stops the AI from sounding like a boring robot.

See the Difference: Bad vs Good Prompts

The Amateur Way

"Write an email to sell my new CRM software."

Result:

A generic, boring, robotic-sounding email starting with "Dear Sir/Madam, I hope this email finds you well..." that goes straight to the spam folder.

The Engineered Way

"Act as an expert copywriter. Write a 100-word cold email selling our CRM software to busy CFOs. Highlight that it saves 10 hours a week on reconciliation. Keep the tone punchy and confident. Use a question as the subject line."

Result:

"Subject: Tired of manual reconciliation?

Hey [Name], I know your team is losing roughly 10 hours a week just matching data... [Proceeds to write a highly converting, personalized pitch]."
